Many folks have asked about the latitude of Rome with respect to Charlotte, NC.
Rome is at 41-54 N, which is actually further north than New York City.
Charlotte is at 35-14 N, which is about the same as Malta, which is below Sicily. In fact, Charlotte is further south than both Tunis and Gibraltar.
